Photo - A friend of mine sent me this to share with everyone here. Obviously a hot-shot Intermodal... the typical Transcon flyer here. This is taken just north in Coal City, IL at a junction known as "Pequot". This used to be where the GM&O and the ATSF Railway had an interlocking tower. In fact, the whole town of Coal City was a giant railroad coal mining operation... go figure - with the ATSF in the middle running through it. Notice how far apart the two mainlines are... this is because one side used to be the ATSF (left track) and the other was the GM&O. Some small-scale history for everyone!
